DILARTS

C3I provides the U.S. Navy with the Digital Integrated Launch and Recovery Television Surveillance (DILARTS) System, a NAVAIR system that enhances flight deck safety and efficiency aboard aircraft carriers. DILARTS supports situational awareness, incident investigation, aircraft lineup, and recovery operations by delivering high-resolution, real-time visuals to Sailors.

The system was developed in response to fleet concerns over the low resolution of legacy ILARTS panoramic cameras and degraded video quality in inclement weather. DILARTS processes input from four 4K cameras simultaneously, offering more than 1,250% greater pixel processing power than the legacy system. It also incorporates two machine learning models that automatically detect and categorize adverse weather conditions with high fidelity, further improving visibility and safety during critical launch and recovery operations.
